At Airbus Operations GmbH in Hamburg-Finkenwerder, you will work as a Supply Officer Material Supply to manage material supply for aviation production. You coordinate supply chains, optimize processes, and ensure that standard parts and hardware are available on time, in the required quality, and at planned costs. Your work is the linchpin between internal requirements and external suppliers.

Responsibilities
- Order Processing: Place purchase orders based on procurement requests on behalf of the commodity
- Material Flow Management: Actively manage the material flow to ensure on-time, quality, and cost-effective deliveries of outsourced and purchased parts
- Inventory and Order Management: Manage and coordinate inventory and orders with suppliers
- Supplier Coordination: Verify and communicate supplier requirements, focusing on supply chain optimization and creative solutions for short-term demand
- Demand Planning: Conduct demand planning and supplier coordination, including order placement, tracking, analysis of delivery delays, and recovery plan management
- Process Definition: Define, implement, and negotiate logistics processes to support operational efficiency and supply chain performance
- Performance Monitoring: Monitor supply chain performance daily and maintain effective supplier relationships through regular communication and performance follow-up
- Stakeholder Communication: Communicate continuously with internal stakeholders regarding order status, delivery progress, and supply-related issues
Qualifications
- Successfully completed degree in Aerospace, Business Administration, or Supply Chain / Logistics (at least Bachelor's)
- Several years of professional experience in procurement, supplier management, and supply chain / logistics
- Solid knowledge of SAP/R3 (detailed functions) and Google Workspace
- Basic knowledge of process management
- Business fluent German (at least C1) and business fluent English (at least C1); French language skills are an advantage
- High communication skills, teamwork, sense of responsibility, resilience, and organizational talent
- CV in English required
- A valid, unrestricted work permit for the European Union (no student visa) is mandatory
