Responsibilities
- Concept Development: Anticipate future needs and avionics solutions from analysis to feasibility
- Fleet Modernization: Oversee the retrofit and upgrade of the operational helicopter fleet
- System Architecture: Define, develop, and certify the most effective avionics solutions
- Strategic Work: Contribute to system-level avionics strategy and technology roadmaps
- Requirements Management: Specify and validate functional and non-functional requirements for the avionics system
- System Design: Propose the optimal avionics design considering safety, cost, and customer requirements
- Verification & Certification: Ensure avionics-level verification activities and prepare technical evidence for qualification
- Interface Management: Coordinate with other helicopter systems and the ground segment
Qualifications
- Completed Master's or Diplom degree in Electrical Engineering, Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, Avionics, or Systems Engineering
- Many years of professional experience in electrical engineering/electronics and engineering
- Extensive experience in development, ideally in the aerospace sector
- Knowledge of tools such as Doors, Visio, Reqtify, Mantis, Nectar, Windchill, Cameo, and 3D Experience (TRA/TRM/EEW/RGD) is advantageous
- Business fluent German (at least C1) and business fluent English (at least C1)
- Team spirit, customer orientation, and an open approach to challenges
- A valid, unrestricted work permit for the European Union (no student visa) is mandatory
