Responsibilities
- Software Integration: Integrate required software units into planned IBMS releases and perform system builds
- Release Management: Install new releases on test and reference facilities and perform initial regression tests
- Test Facility Management: Ensure availability and usability of the IBMS product test facility and contribute to its conception, setup, and maintenance
- Process Optimization: Actively contribute to the conception and modernization of CI/CD processes and toolchains
- System Knowledge: Build in-depth knowledge of the architecture and functionality of IBMS systems
- Defect Management: Create and track bug reports and support problem analysis and troubleshooting at product level
- Coordination: Coordinate bug tracking at product level and act as interface to IBMS projects
- Planning & Documentation: Contribute to release planning, create detailed integration plans, and maintain required integration documents
Qualifications
- Completed degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a comparable field (at least Bachelor's)
- Initial experience with integration and testing at product and system level, including fault analysis
- Experience with Linux shell scripting, virtualization, and CI/CD processes
- Good network knowledge (TCP/IP, Wireshark, configuration, and troubleshooting)
- Business fluent German (at least C1) and business fluent English (at least C1)
- Willingness to undertake occasional business trips
- Independent and proactive working style, good communication and teamwork skills
- A valid, unrestricted work permit for the European Union (no student visa) is mandatory
