In this central role, you will monitor and optimize server landscapes, virtualization environments, and critical IT services – ensuring the smooth functionality of the entire IT infrastructure.

The gross annual salary is, depending on qualifications, max. 75,327 €. This position is initially to be filled on a fixed-term basis until 31.05.2027. Responsibilities
- IT Monitoring: Monitoring of servers, systems, and virtualization environments (VMware, Nutanix) as well as analysis of error reports
- Infrastructure Management: Planning and execution of upgrades, installations, and capacity and license management for Windows servers
- Active Directory & Security: Management of domain infrastructure, creation of security templates and Group Policies, and LAPS management
- Citrix & Application Provisioning: Setup and management of Citrix environments, development of provisioning concepts, and creation of images
- Process Optimization: Development of IT policies, Service Level Agreements (SLAs), and user guides to increase effectiveness
- Vendor Management: Negotiation of contracts with IT service providers, evaluation of bids, and management of subcontractors
- Patch & Update Management: Installation, management, and planning of updates for WSUS and TRELLIX instances
- Backup & Disaster Recovery: Planning of backup and recovery strategies and conducting system audits
Qualifications
- Successfully completed degree in Computer Science, Business Informatics, IT Systems Engineering, Mathematics, or a comparable field (at least Bachelor's)
- Several years of professional experience as an IT specialist, ideally in managing complex IT infrastructures
- Several years of practical experience with Active Directory, Windows Servers, MS-SQL, and virtualization (Citrix, VMware)
- Detailed specialist knowledge of SQL, MS-Office, and MS-Project
- Business fluent German (at least C1) and proficient English
- Teamwork skills, strong communication abilities, and a service-oriented approach with a high sense of responsibility
- A valid, unrestricted work permit for the European Union (no student visa) is mandatory
