Responsibilities
- Development and Qualification of metallic 3D-printed helicopter components from research to series maturity
- Surface Treatment: Development, qualification, and production support for new processes and technologies
- Project Management of material development and research projects, including cooperation with external partners
- Process Chain Definition: Identification, definition, and qualification of the entire (post-)process chain for new additive components
- Test Management: Planning, commissioning, coordination, as well as analysis and documentation of extensive material test campaigns
- In-Service Support for additive manufactured components already in service
Qualifications
- Completed doctorate or Master's/Diploma degree in Materials Science, Additive Manufacturing, or a comparable field
- Many years of professional experience in research and development, aerospace, and manufacturing engineering
- Solid and several years of practical experience in additive metal manufacturing (Additive Manufacturing)
- Basic knowledge of surface treatment and finishing; experience with Materialize Magics software is an advantage
- Basic skills in German (at least A2); business fluent English (at least C1); French language skills are an advantage
- Basic knowledge in the design of aviation components (e.g., using Catia, Finite Element Method (FEM)) is desirable
- Confident, team-oriented, and proactive working style with strong communication and feedback skills
- A valid, unrestricted work permit for the European Union (no student visa) is mandatory
