For our customer Lufthansa Technik AG in Hamburg, we are looking for a Tooling & Equipment Planning Technician on a temporary employment basis. In this role, you will take responsibility within operating resources management for planning, procurement and commissioning of operating resources – with a clear focus on standards, processes and internal customers. Tasks

  • Planning, procuring and commissioning operating resources and shopfloor equipment (e.g. standard tools, tool kits/sets, production equipment)
  • Modifying and adapting operating resources in line with requirements from production/the shopfloor
  • Analysing and, if required, further developing existing systems and processes within the operating resources environment
  • Supporting internal interfaces as the main point of contact for operating resources management
  • Advising internal customers on the selection, use and standardisation of operating resources
  • Ensuring standardised workflows, including consideration of commercial aspects

Qualifications

  • Completed technical vocational training, e.g. in metalworking / sheet metal processing or comparable
  • Advanced qualification as a state-certified mechanical engineering technician, master craftsman or comparable
  • First professional experience in operating resources / tooling planning or a similar environment
  • Good process understanding of standardised workflows and commercial interrelationships
  • Good knowledge of common IT applications
  • Good German skills (min. B2) and advanced English skills (min. B1)
  • A valid, unrestricted work permit for the European Union (no student visa) is mandatory
