The gross annual salary is, depending on qualifications, max. 69,809 €. This position is initially to be filled on a fixed-term basis until 30.06.2027. Responsibilities
- Circuit Diagram Development: Develop and detail functional circuit diagrams and wiring diagrams for complex electrical systems
- Component Selection: Specify electrical components and materials considering performance, environmental conditions, and costs
- Technical Documentation: Create technical drawings, parts lists, and other design documents according to internal and customer-specific standards
- System Integration: Collaborate with other engineering disciplines such as mechanics and structure to ensure interface compatibility
- Design Reviews: Support design reviews and failure analyses, and contribute to the implementation of corrective actions
- Process Optimization: Contribute to the optimization of design processes and tools
- Standards Compliance: Ensure compliance with relevant standards, regulations, and quality standards
Qualifications
- Successfully completed degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, or a comparable field (at least Master's/Diploma)
- Several years of professional experience as a Design Engineer, ideally in the aerospace industry
- Solid knowledge of functional electrical design and the development of circuit diagrams
- Good knowledge in the selection and specification of electrical components (e.g., cables, connectors, sensors, actuators)
- Experience with CAD tools for electrical engineering (e.g., Aucotec: Engineering Base, Siemens Capital)
- Familiarity with industry-relevant standards and norms (e.g., MIL-STD) is an advantage
- Advanced German (at least B2) and business fluent English (at least C1)
- CV in English required
- Good communication and teamwork skills, structured and independent way of working
- A valid, unrestricted work permit for the European Union (no student visa) is mandatory
