For our client Airbus Aerostructures GmbH, we are looking for an Electroplating & Coating Technician at the Augsburg site. In the modern plating shop, you control coating processes for high-quality components and contribute directly to manufacturing quality with your meticulousness.

Responsibilities
- Plant operation: Operate, monitor, and load/unload plating plants as well as associated wastewater and ventilation systems
- Coating processes: Perform chromating of components and rivets as well as the professional masking of parts
- Maintenance: Troubleshoot minor faults and carry out simple maintenance measures independently
- Bath management: Prepare new bath setups, monitor bath maintenance, and initiate necessary corrections
- Quality control: Perform regular sampling of water and active baths for analysis
- Process quality: Conduct quality inspections on coated components and process-accompanying test samples
Qualifications
- Completed vocational training as a galvanizer or surface coater
- Several years of professional experience in plating or surface coating
- Experience in operating plating and wastewater treatment plants
- Knowledge of bath maintenance, new bath setups, and sampling
- Basic skills in MS-Office
- Business fluent German (at least C1); basic skills in English (at least A2)
- Willingness to work in a 3-shift system
- Teamwork, independence, and flexibility
- A valid, unrestricted work permit for the European Union (no student visa) is mandatory
