At Airbus Aerostructures GmbH in Hamburg-Finkenwerder, you will drive the continuous improvement of manufacturing processes as a Technical Support Shopfloor. You solve technical problems directly on the shop floor and coordinate corrective actions – ensuring precise aircraft structures are built from individual parts.

Responsibilities


  • Technical Problem Analysis: Identify, analyze, and independently solve recurring manufacturing problems
  • Process Optimization: Improve work results through joint planning, production control, and process design
  • Shopfloor Support: Achieve company goals in the manufacturing area as part of the Autonomous Production Team
  • Continuous Improvement: Ensure and continuously optimize operational processes
  • Quality Management: Resolve non-conformities in ongoing production regarding design and technical regulations
  • Documentation: Create non-conformities and research drawings, parts, and documentation in IT systems
  • Remaining Work Coordination: Document and commission unfinished work at the construction site or on aircraft sections


Qualifications

  • Completed vocational training as an aircraft mechanic, machine fitter, or mechatronics technician with at least a technician/master craftsman qualification OR completed degree in aircraft construction, aerospace engineering, or mechanical engineering with at least a technician/master craftsman qualification
  • Several years of professional experience in work preparation, disposition/material procurement, manufacturing/production, production planning/control, or line side support
  • Proficient use of SAP, Catia V5, Taksy/Gesy/Tesy, and zamiz
  • Business fluent German (at least C1) and proficient English (at least B2)
  • Willingness to work in 2-shift operation
  • Strong communication skills, conflict resolution and persuasion skills, as well as assertiveness
  • A valid, unrestricted work permit for the European Union (no student visa) is mandatory
