The gross annual salary is, depending on qualifications, max. 63,141 €. This position is initially to be filled on a fixed-term basis until 31.07.2027. Responsibilities
- Develop test strategies for avionics systems and define verification methods
- Design and implement test cases and automated scripts for system testing
- Conduct data analysis to identify deviations and solve complex system problems
- Prepare test reports that directly impact flight safety
- Contribute to defining requirements for the next generation of test benches and validation tools
- Support system verification and integration at test bench and aircraft level
- Advance the combination of different test levels (system-of-systems testing)
Qualifications
- Successfully completed Master's or Diplom degree in Computer Science, Aerospace Engineering, or a related field
- Several years of professional experience in the aerospace industry
- Good knowledge of avionics systems; knowledge of mission systems, datalinks, and sensors is especially valuable
- Experience in integration and testing activities is an advantage
- Programming skills, ideally in Python, C/C++, or ATL
- Business fluent English (at least C1); good command of German is a plus
- ISTQB certification is a plus
- Teamwork skills, analytical thinking, and a solution-oriented approach
- CV in English required
- A valid, unrestricted work permit for the European Union (no student visa) is mandatory
