Tasks
- Preparation of technical test specifications and proposals in close coordination with development, prototype manufacturing and aviation authorities (civil and military)
- Execution and documentation of test campaigns for the analysis and verification of aircraft systems
- Performance of static load tests, fatigue tests,environmental tests, vibration tests and functional tests
- Evaluation of measurement data and preparation of final test reports
- Management of external test service providers: specification, commissioning, monitoring
- Development of test methods and tools – including automation using AI-based technologies
- Support in product development and certification processes
Qualifications
- Completed degree in aerospace engineering, mechanical engineering or a comparable field of study
- Extensive professional experience in the fields of aerospace engineering, product development, testing, engineering and procurement (including supplier management)
- Proven knowledge of aircraft systems (airframe, dynamic system, fuel system), laboratory technologies, jigs & tools and IT
- Familiarity with measurement and control technology, special machinery and data processing
- Experience in fatigue analysis, vibration testing, material testing and technical documentation
- Confident in leadership roles, project management, occupational safety and change management
- Proficient German skills (at least B2), business fluent English skills (at least C1), French skills are an advantage
- Willingness to travel occasionally within Germany and Europe
- A valid, unrestricted work permit for the European Union (no student visa) is mandatory
