At Airbus Aerostructures GmbH in Stade, you’ll take on a critical role as a Material Testing Expert Aersospace in the materials laboratory. You’ll analyze high-performance materials such as aluminum, titanium, and composites like CFRP and GFRP – with precision, technical expertise and a keen eye for detail.

Tasks

  • Sample preparation including embedding, grinding and polishing
  • Microscopic analysis using advanced imaging systems
  • Examination of production samples and documentation of findings
  • Support on special topics such as damage analysis and development testing
  • Evaluation of metals, fiber-reinforced composites and hybrid structures
  • Collaboration in an interdisciplinary teamfocused on accuracy and quality

Qualifications

  • Completed vocational training as a Material Tester or comparable qualification in materials engineering
  • Several years of hands-on experience in laboratory work, metallurgy or material science
  • Proficiency in using Google Workspace / GSuite
  • Fluent German skills (min. C1), Advanced English skills (min. B2)
  • A valid and unrestricted work permit for the European Union (no student visa) is mandatory
