Job Profile – Aircraft Mechanic at ARTS Group
As an aircraft mechanic at ARTS Group, you work in different technical focus areas – depending on your training, qualifications and experience. You won’t be performing assistant tasks, but will contribute directly to the operational safety and quality of modern aircraft.
Typical tasks include:
-
Assembly of structural components and parts as part of aircraft production
-
Manufacturing and processing of riveted joints on aircraft fuselages
- Work on fuel, pneumatic and hydraulic systems
-
Maintenance and repair of water and wastewater systems
-
Cabin assembly and integration
- Maintenance and servicing of engines
-
Inspection tasks within your certification (e.g., as Certifying Staff with CAT A or CAT
B)
Depending on the project, you will work in production, line or base maintenance, retrofitting
or on special modifications. You are often part of interdisciplinary teams with electricians,
inspectors and logisticians. In some projects, you may also take on tasks in documentation,
material handling or support physical inspections – for example, in the context of lease
transitions or condition assessments. This means you contribute not only technically, but
also process-oriented to the success of the project.
