For our client Diehl Aviation Hamburg GmbH, we are looking for an Operational Buyer at the Hamburg-Finkenwerder site. In this central role, you will manage the procurement of purchased parts and services, coordinate supply chains, and ensure the timely availability of all materials required for production.

Responsibilities
- Commercial management of commodity groups as well as implementation and monitoring of procurement processes
- Procurement of purchased parts and external services for assigned commodity groups
- Supplier management: Organization and assurance of timely delivery of materials and services
- Process optimization: Implementation of procurement concepts, initiation of measures, and review of their effectiveness
- Data analysis: Conducting analyses on inventory levels, supplier performance, and material availability
- Interface coordination: Coordination and consultation with internal and external partners such as production and suppliers
- Project collaboration: Support for projects and optimization initiatives in the procurement area
- Administrative tasks: Creation of purchase orders, reports, and overviews as well as maintenance of office filing
Qualifications
- Completed commercial apprenticeship, for example as an industrial clerk, office management clerk, or comparable qualification
- Several years of professional experience in operational procurement, disposition, or material procurement
- Experience in project management
- Proficient use of SAP and MS Office
- Business fluent German (at least C1) and proficient English (at least B2)
- Strong communication skills, teamwork, and conflict management skills
- Independent, structured, and precise way of working
- A valid, unrestricted work permit for the European Union (no student visa) is mandatory
