Tasks
- Development of sourcing alternatives and alignment with specialist departments to optimize value and cost drivers
- Support in identifying and realizing savings potential in complex purchasing projects
- Preparation of case-specific procurement strategies using professional methods and e-procurement tools
- Selection of suitable suppliers, conducting bid comparisons and sustainable cost management (Total Cost of Ownership)
- Drafting and negotiating framework and individual contracts through to contract conclusion within the scope of authorization
- Ensuring transparency for procurement decisions through monitoring, steering and audit processes
- Processing operational ordering activities, clarifying contract-related questions and providing customer support
- Optimizing own workflows incl. automation of manual processes and supporting the further development of other commodity groups
Qualifications
- Completed vocational training or degree in a commercial or technical field
- Initial experience in purchasing, materials planning (disposition) and logistics
- Knowledge of commercial topics / controlling and strong cost awareness are an advantage
- Experience with the AMOS system is highly beneficial
- Good German skills (min. B2) and advanced English skills (min. B1)
- A valid, unrestricted work permit for the European Union (no student visa) is mandatory
