For our client Airbus Operations GmbH, we are looking for a Project Manager Cabin Interior at the Hamburg-Finkenwerder site to start as soon as possible. Tasks
- Planning and managing the entire design process from concept phase to tender documentation
- Developing innovative concepts for colours, materials and finishes (CMF) and creating detailed specifications
- Managing projects within a multicultural team with daily interaction with international airline customers
- Observing trends and creating moodboards and presentations to support design development
- Building and maintaining comprehensive material knowledge to ensure efficient industrialisation
- Designing and promoting CMF and lighting solutions to strengthen brand identity
- Supporting the mock-up creation of aircraft cabins
- Translating brand identities into interior design, considering CMF, lighting, graphic and industrial design aspects
Qualifications
- Completed university degree in interior architecture, design, architecture, textile design or graphic design
- Extensive professional experience in interior design as well as several years of experience in customer service and project management
- Proven expertise in CMF design and brand development
- Proficient in Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop, ideally also familiar with tools like Adobe Creative Cloud or Blender
- Very good English skills (at least C1); German or French skills are a plus
- Willingness to travel globally, especially to Toulouse
- CV in English required
- A valid, unrestricted work permit for the European Union (no student visa) is mandatory
