For our client Airbus Operations GmbH, we are looking for a Project Manager Cabin Interior at the Hamburg-Finkenwerder site to start as soon as possible. In this role, you will develop globally recognized cabin concepts that combine design, brand identity and technological feasibility – from the initial idea to tender readiness. Tasks

  • Planning and managing the entire design process from concept phase to tender documentation
  • Developing innovative concepts for colours, materials and finishes (CMF) and creating detailed specifications
  • Managing projects within a multicultural team with daily interaction with international airline customers
  • Observing trends and creating moodboards and presentations to support design development
  • Building and maintaining comprehensive material knowledge to ensure efficient industrialisation
  • Designing and promoting CMF and lighting solutions to strengthen brand identity
  • Supporting the mock-up creation of aircraft cabins
  • Translating brand identities into interior design, considering CMF, lighting, graphic and industrial design aspects

Qualifications

  • Completed university degree in interior architecture, design, architecture, textile design or graphic design
  • Extensive professional experience in interior design as well as several years of experience in customer service and project management
  • Proven expertise in CMF design and brand development
  • Proficient in Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop, ideally also familiar with tools like Adobe Creative Cloud or Blender
  • Very good English skills (at least C1); German or French skills are a plus
  • Willingness to travel globally, especially to Toulouse
  • CV in English required
  • A valid, unrestricted work permit for the European Union (no student visa) is mandatory
