Responsibilities
- Financial steering: Planning, monitoring, and precise control of recurring operating costs (RC) as well as one-time project and investment expenditures (NRC)
- Cost transparency: Ensuring project costs are recorded separately and do not inadvertently flow into ongoing operating costs
- Resource controlling: Supporting management in steering resource allocation and monitoring utilization as well as the distribution of working hours
- Budget planning: Preparation of the annual budget plan (AOP) and management of regular bottom-up forecasts, taking milestones into account
- Variance analysis: Conducting continuous target/actual comparisons and early identification of cost and capacity deviations
- Reporting: Creation of meaningful reports and dashboard analyses for department management and central corporate controlling
Qualifications
- Completed degree in a technical field or in business administration (at least a Bachelor's degree)
- Several years of professional experience in finance, project management, and performance management
- Knowledge of process management is an advantage
- Proficient use of SAP (detailed functions) and Google Workspace
- Business fluent German (at least C1) and proficient English (at least B2)
- Analytical mindset, structured and results-oriented working style, and strong communication skills
- A valid, unrestricted work permit for the European Union (no student visa) is mandatory
