At Airbus Defence and Space GmbH in Manching, you will work as a Project Manager for Asset Planning to manage the entire lifecycle of manufacturing tools and equipment. You coordinate the provision, development, and disposal of tooling – from new programs to series production and MRO areas.

The gross annual salary is, depending on qualifications, max. 57,075 €. This position is initially to be filled on a fixed-term basis until 11.12.2026. Responsibilities


  • Tooling provision on schedule, considering time, cost, and quality in collaboration with internal departments and external suppliers
  • Specification documents independently create – complex German and English specifications for development, procurement, and modification
  • Project management independently implement in an international environment
  • Tooling loans independently initiate and manage, taking export regulations into account
  • Development and approval processes for tooling coordinate and support
  • Improvement proposals independently evaluate and implement with focus on safety, schedule, cost, and quality
  • Disposal of company- and customer-owned tooling in compliance with all regulations, contracts, and laws


Qualifications

  • Completed degree in Electrical Engineering, Engineering, or Mechanical Engineering (at least Bachelor's)
  • Several years of professional experience in project management
  • Many years of professional experience in production, as well as strong technical understanding and solid skills in specifying tooling
  • Proficient use of MS Office, MS Project, and SAP; knowledge of Google applications is desirable
  • Business fluent German (at least C1); proficient English (at least B2)
  • High sense of responsibility, resilience, goal orientation, good communication skills, and confident demeanor towards internal customers and in an international environment
  • A valid, unrestricted work permit for the European Union (no student visa) is mandatory
