For our client HENSOLDT Optronics GmbH, we are looking for a Project Manager, Product Services at the Oberkochen site. In the department for Integrated Logistic Support and In-Service Support, you will manage projects to maintain the supportability of highly complex optoelectronic systems – from contract acquisition to international service coordination.

The gross annual salary is, depending on qualifications, max. 78,451 €. This position is initially to be filled on a fixed-term basis until 30.04.2027. Responsibilities
- Project management for In-Service Support projects to ensure the operational readiness of complex optoelectronic systems in the border surveillance domain
- Supportability planning: Plan, control, and implement measures to maintain the availability of optoelectronic systems
- Contract management: Acquire, develop, negotiate, and manage service and subcontractor agreements
- International service coordination: Plan, organize, and coordinate international service deployments
- Work package definition: Define, agree upon, and release work packages regarding scope, deadlines, interfaces, and target costs
- Service delivery control: Control service delivery, reporting, and invoicing
- Project success assurance: Ensure achievement of project objectives in the dimensions of cost, time, and performance/quality
- Service concept development: Develop and implement comprehensive service concepts and create external offers for service provision
Qualifications
- Completed technical degree (at least Bachelor's) or comparable qualification, ideally supplemented by business administration knowledge
- Several years of professional experience in technical project management
- Experience in obsolescence management, change management, and configuration management; knowledge of life cycle management
- Proficient use of MS Office, SAP (detailed functions), and SharePoint applications
- Business fluent German (at least C1) and proficient English (at least B2); additional language skills are advantageous
- Knowledge of export and ITAR regulations; experience in the defense industry or military background is advantageous
- High technical understanding of complex, networked systems and products
- Strong communication skills, teamwork, sense of responsibility, resilience, and organizational talent
- A valid, unrestricted work permit for the European Union (no student visa) is mandatory
