For our client Diehl Aviation Laupheim GmbH, we are looking for a Incoming Goods Quality Inspector (Aviation) at the Laupheim site. In this responsible position, you ensure that all incoming parts and materials meet strict quality requirements. With your analytical eye and structured way of working, you contribute directly to quality assurance in the aerospace industry.

Responsibilities


  • Goods Receipt Inspection of parts requiring inspection using simple measuring tools such as calipers or limit samples
  • Inspection Documentation: Review supplier documentation for completeness and compliance with specifications
  • SAP Quality Management: Record inspection results and decide on the further use of products
  • Failure Analysis: Analyze material and product problems and determine the root cause (internal/external)
  • Complaint Management: Create complaint notifications in SAP according to user documentation
  • Material Management of blocked materials and scanning of all First Article Inspection (FAI) documents
  • Supplier Audits: Conduct on-site advanced goods receipt inspections and first article inspections
  • Supplier Training: If required, instruct the supplier's inspection personnel regarding quality requirements


Qualifications

  • Completed vocational training as an electrician, aircraft mechanic, industrial mechanic, plastics and rubber process mechanic, or a comparable technical qualification
  • Many years of professional experience in one of the mentioned fields
  • Several years of professional experience in goods receipt inspection
  • Initial experience in quality management and quality assurance (at least one year)
  • Proficient use of SAP and MS Office (knowledge of detailed functions)
  • Business fluent German (at least C1) and proficient English (at least B2)
  • Good communication skills, teamwork, as well as analytical, structured, conscientious, and independent working methods
  • A valid, unrestricted work permit for the European Union (no student visa) is mandatory
