Responsibilities
- Quality release of aircraft areas for the subsequent manufacturing process
- Inspections: Plan and conduct incoming, functional, hold-point, and final inspections
- Documentation of all inspections in relevant IT systems such as SAP PDA/PEA, ARP, and MES
- Non-conformance management: Recording, tracking, and closing of non-conformities in SAP-NC, Concession, Quality Logbook, or QSR
- Process monitoring of manufacturing sequences and partner activities
- Operational surveillance activities within the scope of Customer Protection
- Technical guidance of certified production personnel (Lvl.1, Lvl.2) on quality assurance matters
- Problem analysis and fault rectification in multidisciplinary teams (STO approach, MFTs)
Qualifications
- Completed vocational training as an aircraft mechanic, aircraft builder, or comparable technical training, ideally with further education as a technician or technical business manager
- Several years of professional experience in aircraft construction, industrial mechanics, or aerospace
- Experience in quality assurance
- Proficient use of SAP; basic knowledge of Google Workspace
- Business fluent German (at least C1); proficient English (at least B2)
- Willingness to work in 2-shift operation and in confined spaces
- Analytical thinking, independent working style, and strong teamwork skills
- A valid, unrestricted work permit for the European Union (no student visa) is mandatory
