Tasks

  • Performing visual inspections, incoming and initial sample inspections
  • First article inspections at suppliers, including quality assessment and assurance
  • Ensuring compliance with development documents, customer and approval requirements
  • Documenting all test results in the production orders and relevant IT systems (e.g., SAP, IRS, BDE)
  • Preparation of initial sample reports and compilation of all necessary aircraft documents
  • Preparation and tracking of quality reports and component complaints
  • Participation in quality optimization processes and planning changes in orders and plans

Qualifications

  • Completed training as an electronics technician for aerospace systems, aircraft mechanic, or in a metalworking profession
  • Many years of professional experience in aerospace, quality testing, or quality management
  • In-depth knowledge of SAP, basic knowledge of Total Quality Management, and Google Workspace
  • Very good German skills (at least C1) and good English skills (at least B2)
  • Willingness to work shifts in a 2-shift system
  • A valid, unrestricted work permit for the European Union (no student visa) is mandatory
