Responsibilities
- Operation of measuring machines: Operation of 3D coordinate measuring machines and optical measurement systems
- Component inspection: Inspection of composite components using optical 3D and classical measuring tools
- Inspection process planning: Preparation and planning of the inspection process, including procurement of inspection plans and drawing documents
- Conformity inspection: Checking, controlling, and confirming the conformity of products, tools, and documents
- Measurement evaluation: Measuring and inspecting simple and complex parts as well as evaluating and documenting the results
- Fault analysis: Creation of clear fault descriptions in the form of complaints for identified deviations
- Selection of test equipment: Selection of special test equipment and planning of the inspection process for first-time and special parts
- Quality improvement: Creation of documents and analysis of test results as well as contribution to the improvement of processes, tools, and products
Qualifications
- Completed vocational training as an aircraft mechanic, plastics and rubber process mechanic, or comparable technical training, each at least at master craftsman level
- Several years of professional experience in manufacturing/production and in plastics and rubber technology
- Initial experience in quality assurance
- Proficient use of MS-Office and SAP (in-depth application knowledge)
- Experience with measurement software such as Polyworks and/or Calypso
- Business fluent German (at least C1) and proficient English (at least B2)
- Further training in non-destructive testing (NDT) level 2 according to EN4179 (aerospace) is desirable
- High quality awareness, teamwork skills, and an independent way of working
- A valid, unrestricted work permit for the European Union (no student visa) is mandatory
