Tasks

  • Ensuring product quality during production through technical inspections of the aircraft
  • Approval of components for further processing and management of construction deviations
  • Processing non-conformities, including deadline tracking, documentation, and troubleshooting
  • Providing technical guidance to production employees and supervising authorized inspection personnel
  • Training and familiarizing new authorized inspectors, including acceptance of work samples
  • Carrying out PPS activities to analyze and solve quality problems
  • Applying lean principles and modern quality and problem-solving methods

Qualifications

  • Completed training as an aircraft mechanic or aircraft builder (at least master craftsman) OR successfully completed engineering degree (at least bachelor's degree)
  • Several years of professional experience in the field of aerospace, quality management, and quality assurance
  • Good knowledge of lean management and total quality management
  • Knowledge of aircraft structure or metal construction desirable
  • Business fluent German (at least C1) and advanced English skills (at least B2)
  • In-depth SAP knowledge and experience with Google Workspace
  • Willingness to work shifts (early and late shifts)
  • Valid, unrestricted work permit for the European Union (no student visa) is mandatory
