We’re looking for a Quality Inspector in Hamburg-Finkenwerder for our client, Airbus Aerostructures GmbH. You’ll work closely with the structural assembly team, resolve deviations directly during the process, and drive effective corrective actions through the appropriate channels. Responsibilities


  • Conducting quality inspections and root cause analyses on quality and technical issues arising from production and stakeholders
  • Ensuring that corrective and preventive actions (CAPA) are implemented by the responsible functions, supported by cross-functional teams
  • Resolving quality defects in the short term to safeguard production and ensuring consistent FOD prevention
  • Conducting operational surveillance and relevant inspections, as well as monitoring delegated tasks according to defined standards
  • Performing practical problem-solving and supporting shop floor teams through coaching
  • Planning and conducting final checks and special inspections


Qualifications

  • Master craftsman qualification as a precision mechanic, aircraft mechanic, automotive mechanic, metalworker, bodywork technician, or comparable qualification
  • Several years of professional experience in the areas of configuration management, production planning and control, quality management, quality assurance, and materials testing
  • Proficient SAP skills (detailed functions); knowledge of Google Workspace
  • Business-fluent German (min. C1); proficient English (min. B2)
  • Willingness to work shifts in a 2-shift system
  • A valid, unrestricted work permit for the European Union (not a student visa) is mandatory
