Responsibilities
- Conduct quality inspections in the component and final painting of civil and military helicopter parts
- Ensure airworthiness and guarantee compliance with aviation regulatory requirements
- Create required delivery documentation and perform first article inspections on internally and externally produced assemblies
- Initiate and monitor corrective actions and create Non-Conformities (NC's)
- Perform assignments in the Final Assembly Lines at Airbus Helicopters and supervise production inspectors and quality gates
- Prepare and ensure the final conformity of products
- Coordinate problem-solving activities and perform troubleshooting on systems to maintain airworthiness
Qualifications
- Completed vocational training as an electroplater/surface coater, painter/varnisher, process mechanic for coating technology, or comparable technical training – each at least at master craftsman level
- Several years of professional experience in manufacturing/production as well as in electroplating/surface coating
- Several years of experience in quality assurance, ideally in the aerospace industry
- Business fluent German (at least C1) and proficient English (at least B2)
- Willingness to undertake occasional business trips
- Strong teamwork skills, high social competence, reliability, and quick comprehension
- A valid, unrestricted work permit for the European Union (no student visa) is mandatory
