Responsibilities
- Test Definition: Plan and execute complex test scenarios and formal acceptance tests for the validation of embedded software
- Software Development: Define and support software development and software tests in close collaboration with the associated lab environment
- Certification: Support development and certification activities for the embedded software of A400M Mission & Military Systems, including test evidence and documentation
- Project Planning: Contribute to workload estimation exercises for future software developments (concept, specification, work packages)
- Process Management: Support planning activities and participate in the preparation of relevant Stages of Involvement (SOIs) and Quality Gates
Qualifications
- Successfully completed Master's or Diploma degree in Computer Science, Aerospace Engineering, or a comparable field
- Several years of professional experience in software testing (including HIL, SIL, requirements validation, real-time testing on target) and/or software development
- Experience working with real-time operating systems (RTOS) and avionics software certification processes (e.g., DO-178B/C) is an advantage
- Solid knowledge of programming languages C and C++ (Python and UML are a plus)
- Business fluent English (at least C1); German language skills are an advantage
- CV in English language required
- Teamwork skills, reliability, and a precise way of working
- A valid, unrestricted work permit for the European Union (no student visa) is mandatory
