Responsibilities
- Software development in C++ for test and simulation frameworks (TSF), planning and implementation
- Graphical user interfaces (GUI) for TSF elements, conceptualizing and developing
- Development tests such as unit tests, simulating, implementing, and executing independently
- Code reviews, conducting and actively contributing to quality assurance
- Second-level support for the test support system AIDASS / MaTE and the simulation framework SI²
- Customer support in application development and system testing
- Virtual development in a mixed environment of simulations and real hardware, actively shaping
- Continuous improvement process: Contributing to concepts and technologies for software teams
Qualifications
- Successfully completed degree in Computer Science or a related field (at least Bachelor's)
- Several years of professional experience in IT / information systems
- Basic understanding of software design principles, patterns, and system programming concepts
- Programming skills in C++, initial experience with modern C++ standards
- Knowledge of version control systems, especially Git
- Initial experience with or willingness to learn frameworks such as Qt, MFC, or Eclipse RCP
- Awareness of agile development practices (e.g., Scrum, Kanban)
- Business fluent German (at least C1) and business fluent English (at least C1)
- Teamwork, communication skills, and solution-oriented approach
- A valid, unrestricted work permit for the European Union (no student visa) is mandatory
