Tasks
- Inspection of single parts, assemblies, standard components, and semi-finished goods in accordance with specifications, technical drawings, and applicable standards
- Execution of hardness tests, dimensional measurements, and microscopic inspections on mechanical components
- Operation of specialized analysis equipment, including NITON/X-ray fluorescence analyzers, for material identification and verification
- Review of documentation in English, and preparation of inspection reports and nonconformity notifications
- Inspection tasks performed under cleanroom conditions and at clean benches within the integration and test environment
- Inspection of pyrotechnic components (requires a valid pyrotechnic handling certificate – “Pyroschein”)
- Coordination and tracking of corrective actions related to non-compliant deliveries
- Final shipment inspections and readiness checks, including support for outbound projects such as deliveries to Kourou
Qualifications
- Completed technical training with additional qualification as a certified technician or technical specialist
- Several years of professional experience (at least 3 years) in manufacturing, electrical systems, logistics, aerospace, and quality assurance
- Confident handling of electronic components
- Good working knowledge of SAP R/3 (QS module) and advanced MS Office skills
- Fluent in German (min. C1) and proficient in English (min. B2)
- Valid "Pyroschein" (pyrotechnic certification) is mandatory
- A valid and unrestricted work permit for the European Union (no student visa) is required
