At Diehl Aviation GmbH in Laupheim, we are looking for a skilled Design Engineer Aircraft Modules to join our module development team. In this role, you’ll be responsible for translating technical and customer requirements into reliable, functional assemblies for modern aircraft interiors – always with a focus on integration, performance, and manufacturability.

Tasks
- Translate internal and external requirements into module and assembly functionalities
- Coordinate continuously with developers and specialist departments to ensure integration and consistency
- Adapt existing assemblies to meet technical specifications and customer needs
- Optimize modules and assemblies based on systematic weak-point analyses
- Ensure modularity, functionality, and integration capability, also with third-party components
- Prepare technical documentation, including specifications, product structures, production drawings, qualification documents, and presentations
Qualifications
- Completed Bachelor’s degree in engineering, aerospace, mechanical engineering, or composite materials
- Several years of experience in aerospace engineering and module design
- Advanced knowledge of CATIA V5, SAP, and MS Office
- Basic knowledge of project management
- Fluent German skills (at least C1) and proficient English skills (at least B2)
- English CV required
- A valid, unrestricted work permit for the European Union (no student visa) is mandatory
