The gross annual salary is, depending on qualifications, max. 78,341 €. This position is initially to be filled on a fixed-term basis until 30.04.2028. Responsibilities


  • 3D/2D design and validation of metal, composite, and hybrid components for fuselage structures
  • Perform configuration management for change requests and modifications independently
  • Provide in-service support for repair requests and service bulletin checks
  • Interface coordination with internal design departments and external engineering service providers
  • Communication with partners from systems engineering, manufacturing, stress, and fatigue
  • Optimization of components regarding weight, cost, performance, and assembly requirements


Qualifications

  • Successfully completed degree in Engineering or Mechanical Engineering (at least Bachelor's)
  • Several years of professional experience in engineering and design
  • Experience in configuration management as well as with metal, composite, and hybrid design principles
  • In-depth knowledge of Catia V5; initial application knowledge of ICC; PASS SSCI knowledge is an advantage
  • Business fluent English (at least C1)
  • Knowledge in the field of Repair Technical Engineer (RTE) is an advantage
  • Analytical thinking, independent working style, and strong communication skills
  • A valid, unrestricted work permit for the European Union (no student visa) is mandatory
