At Airbus Operations GmbH in Hamburg-Finkenwerder, you will support the industrial side of a multifunctional team for mechanical systems as a Manufacturing Engineer. Responsibilities
- Manufacturing standards for mechanical systems, establishing them as a procurement reference
- Supplier development by actively analyzing industrial capabilities during the tender phase
- Cost reduction projects with expertise in manufacturing systems and industrial engineering
- Project leadership for industrial system deliverables in new industrialization and transfer projects
- Escalation management for relevant operational topics within the multifunctional team
- Process optimization by contributing improvement ideas for external workflows
Qualifications
- Successfully completed Master's or Diplom degree in Engineering or a technical field
- Several years of professional experience in work preparation and Manufacturing Engineering
- Experience in contract management and technical documentation
- Good knowledge of project management
- Business fluent German (at least C1) and business fluent English (at least C1)
- Willingness to travel for business (max. once per month within Europe)
- Structured and results-oriented working style as well as strong communication skills
- CV in English required
- A valid, unrestricted work permit for the European Union (no student visa) is mandatory
