Tasks
- Developing and implementing efficient manufacturing processes in the prototype phase while adhering to cost, quality, and deadline targets
- Creating complex work plans and parts lists, including linking relevant manufacturing processes based on specifications from MyCES
- Ensuring material availability and supply security in the assembly process before the start of production
- Implementing lean measures (e.g., poka-yoke) as well as proactively analyzing and correcting process deviations, including non-conformance processing
- Technical interface to engineering: Advising the design department and reviewing and approving construction documents for manufacturing feasibility (design for manufacturing)
- Maintaining master data and processes (material master data, technical specifications) for complete documentation
- Collaborating on the optimization of production planning/control in the prototype environment
Qualifications
- Technical training with further training as a master craftsman/technician (e.g., aircraft mechanic, industrial mechanic, mechatronics engineer, electronics technician for aerospace systems, or comparable) or technical degree (e.g., aerospace, mechanical engineering, mechatronics, comparable)
- Many years of professional experience in manufacturing/production
- Several years of experience in work preparation, production planning/control, and manufacturing engineering
- Desirable: Several years of experience in the aerospace environment, ideally in manufacturing engineering or production planning/control
- In-depth knowledge of SAP and very good knowledge of Google Workspace
- Business fluent in German (at least C1); advanced English (at least B2)
- A valid, unrestricted work permit for the European Union (no student visa) is mandatory
