Tasks
- Developing safety-critical hardware for aviation, including support during the concept, certification, and series production phases
- Independently processing offers and carrying out concept development, circuit design, calculation, and simulation in a team
- Integrating, commissioning, and verifying electronic cards and devices
- Collaboration in agile, interdisciplinary teams with development, suppliers, purchasing, and manufacturing until the product is ready for series production
- Analysis of customer requirements and design of hardware architectures to meet the requirements
- Creation of aviation-specific documentation
- Support during environmental and device qualification (e.g., verifications, tests, reviews)
Qualifications
- Degree in electrical engineering, aerospace engineering, or a comparable field of study
- Many years of experience in electronics development, including many years of experience in the design of hardware applications in aviation, preferably for safety-critical aircraft applications
- Experience with requirements engineering and the verification and validation of development results
- Basic knowledge of production and manufacturing processes
- Experience with Cadence Allegro is essential
- Knowledge of modern development tools and processes (e.g., CAE tools, calculation and analysis tools, Agile, Scrum)
- Business fluent German (at least C1) and advanced English (at least B2)
- A valid, unrestricted work permit for the European Union (no student visa) is essential
