Responsibilities


  • Mechanical System Design for fuel and bleed air systems: plan and implement
  • Design Principles: develop and propose physical solutions to ensure system functionality
  • 3D Models and 2D Drawings: create and validate independently using Airbus proprietary tools
  • Supplier Management: lead and monitor Risk Share Partners and design suppliers
  • Engineering Change Leader: manage change requests and contribute to configuration management
  • Production Support: assist manufacturing, including handling Design Query Notes (DQN) and Concessions (CO)
  • Production Optimization: develop components and assemblies with regard to weight, cost, and assembly requirements


Qualifications

  • Completed degree in Engineering or Mechanical Engineering (at least Technician/Technical Manager qualification)
  • Several years of professional experience in engineering, ideally in aircraft construction
  • Many years of experience in design, particularly of mechanical components
  • In-depth application knowledge of Catia V5 and vpm (Virtual Product Mock-up)
  • Proficient German skills (at least B2); proficient English skills (at least B2)
  • Knowledge of PASS SSI required; TAKSY and APS knowledge advantageous
  • Analytical thinking, structured and independent working methods, and strong communication skills
  • A valid, unrestricted work permit for the European Union (no student visa) is mandatory
