Tasks
- Planning, procuring, and maintaining test benches, operating resources, and equipment for aircraft maintenance, taking into account manufacturer and regulatory instructions
- Project management for new test benches, test procedures, and operating resources, including responsibility for cost, schedule, and quality targets
- Conducting profitability analyses and preparing decision and approval templates
- Analyzing manufacturing methods and deriving concepts for improving product and process quality, optimizing manufacturing, and reducing operating costs
- Ensuring capability development within your own area of responsibility
- Supporting and advising production areas and affiliated locations
- Creating technical documentation as well as maintenance, repair, and training concepts to ensure the availability of test benches, operating resources, and equipment
Qualifications
- Completed degree in electrical engineering, communications engineering, aircraft systems engineering, or mechatronics
- Several years of professional experience in project implementation and project management as well as in leading, guiding, and motivating project staff
- Experience in equipment and plant planning as well as in creating specifications (desirable)
- Good programming skills, ideally with National Instruments LabVIEW, National Instruments TestStand, and Python
- Business fluent in German (at least C1); advanced English (at least B2)
- Willingness to travel domestically and internationally
- A valid, unrestricted work permit for the European Union (no student visa) is mandatory
