Responsibilities
- Assume engineering-side product responsibility for the support of CFM56 HPT nozzles
- Create, revise, and approve maintenance and work documents for use
- Drive continuous improvement (CIP) of processes and work steps in the maintenance environment
- Define, cost, and implement repairs, modifications, supplemental pages, and testing
- Coordinate technical consultations with the workshop as well as process engineering, customer service, production, administration, and management
- Track, analyze, and initiate appropriate measures for malfunctions, technical complaints, and limit violations
- Identify optimization potential, conceptualize alternatives, and support technical and economic evaluations
- Develop and coordinate action plans and track their implementation through to completion
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in engineering, preferably in aircraft design, mechanical engineering, or aeronautical engineering
- Several years of professional experience in a technical field, ideally in maintenance or aeronautical engineering
- Good knowledge of aviation regulations
- Good general computer skills
- Very good German language skills (min. B2) and business-level English (min. C1)
- Ability to clearly present complex issues and to think and act in a networked manner
- Willingness to make decisions and take responsibility, assertiveness, strong organizational skills, and the ability to handle conflicts
- A valid, unrestricted work permit for the European Union (not a student visa) is mandatory
