Responsibilities


  • ETL pipeline development using Python to automate data flows between engineering databases
  • Tool integration by creating “glue code” for seamless data transfer between analysis software and internal systems
  • Digitization of manual, spreadsheet-based calculation processes into automated, version-controlled web apps or scripts
  • Methods standardization through the development of templates and automated generators for stress dossiers
  • Database management and optimization of digital libraries for current and historical data
  • Automation troubleshooting as the first point of contact for issues with engineering tools or scripts
  • Process analysis to identify bottlenecks and manual steps with error potential
  • Internal consultancy and training of team members on using new digital tools and basic automation principles


Qualifications

  • Successfully completed degree (at least Bachelor's) in Computer Science, Engineering, Aerospace, or Mechanical Engineering
  • Several years of professional experience in engineering and IT/information systems; Airbus experience is an advantage
  • Detailed specialist knowledge of Python; initial application knowledge of Unix and Java
  • Knowledge of Google Workspace and, as an advantage, experience with cloud environments (AWS)
  • Business fluent English (at least C1); German skills are an advantage
  • CV in English required
  • Teamwork skills, strong communication skills, and an independent way of working
  • A valid, unrestricted work permit for the European Union (no student visa) is mandatory
