At Airbus Defence and Space GmbH in Manching, you will take on full responsibility for a number of projects and their interdependencies throughout the entire lifecycle of a programme or product as a Engineer as Program Manager. You will develop and implement the strategic direction for customers and ensure that all targets regarding quality, schedule, and finances are met.

Responsibilities


  • Programme accountability across the full lifecycle of a number of projects, including interdependencies
  • Strategy development for programmes and products towards customers, proposing and applying the strategy
  • Target achievement ensuring all programme/project targets for product quality, delivery schedule, and financial objectives are met
  • Programme organisation leadership, optimising and arbitrating for resources, conflicts, risks, and opportunities
  • Financial control including responsibility for Profit & Loss (P&L)
  • Customer commitments verification, ensuring company commitments towards customers are met


Qualifications

  • Successfully completed degree in Engineering or Industrial Engineering (at least Master's or Diplom)
  • Many years of experience in product development
  • Many years of experience in project leadership and project management
  • Solid experience in project controlling
  • Very good knowledge of MS-Excel, MS-Office, and MS-Project
  • Business fluent German (at least C1) and business fluent English (at least C1); Spanish knowledge is an advantage
  • Team player skills, communicative personality, and a reliable, goal-oriented way of working
  • CV in English required
  • A valid, unrestricted work permit for the European Union (no student visa) is mandatory
