Responsibilities


  • Process Optimization & Industrialization: Develop and implement efficient manufacturing processes for prototypes while adhering to cost, quality, and schedule targets
  • Technical Work Preparation: Create complex work plans and parts lists, and ensure material availability for assembly
  • Lean Methods: Implement error prevention measures (Poka Yoke) and proactively analyze and rectify process deviations
  • Engineering Interface: Provide technical advice to design departments and review and approve construction documents for their manufacturability
  • Documentation: Continuously maintain master data and technical specifications to ensure seamless documentation
  • Manufacturing Processes: Link relevant manufacturing processes based on specifications and integrate them into work plans


Qualifications

  • Successfully completed degree in Aerospace Engineering or Mechanical Engineering (at least Bachelor's)
  • Several years of professional experience in work preparation, manufacturing/production, or as a helicopter mechanic
  • Many years of experience in Manufacturing Engineering and mechanics in aviation
  • Solid SAP knowledge in the areas of Manufacturing Engineering and material control
  • Very good knowledge of Google Workspace
  • Business fluent German (at least C1); business fluent English (at least C1)
  • Alternatively to a degree: At least 3-year vocational training with qualified further training to become a master craftsman/technician
  • Teamwork skills, good communication skills, flexibility, and structured way of working
  • A valid, unrestricted work permit for the European Union (no student visa) is mandatory
