Responsibilities
- Early influence on designs during the development phase to optimise Supportability & Services performance
- LSA analyses such as Level of Repair Analysis (LORA) and Maintenance Task Analysis (MTA) are carried out and evaluated
- Maintenance programmes are defined in a cost-effective manner and regularly revised taking operational experience into account
- Technical criteria for maintenance tasks are defined and optimised procedural guidelines are proposed
- Spare parts lists are optimised on the basis of technical, economic and operational experience values
- Interface definition between LSA and catalogue definition (IPC) for lean ICA provision processes
- Quality assurance of published technical documentation and consistency checks with other support specialist areas
- Transformation of the LSA role by helping to implement new methods such as S3000L and digitalisation programmes
Qualifications
- University degree in a technical field related to maintainability
- Several years of professional experience in development, customer service and technical documentation, ideally in the aerospace industry
- Experience in Logistics Support Analysis (LSA) and application of related standards (MIL-STD-1388-2B / S3000L) as well as analyses (LORA, MTA)
- Knowledge of further standards (ASD S1000D, S2000M) as well as the aircraft maintenance manual and general knowledge of helicopters and their systems
- Business fluent English (at least C1); French and German language skills are an advantage
- Military background is an advantage
- Teamwork skills, strong communication skills and a proactive, independent way of working
- A valid, unrestricted work permit for the European Union (no student visa) is mandatory
