At Airbus Aerostructures GmbH in Hamburg-Finkenwerder, you will work as a Production Engineer as Shop Floor Support directly in the structural assembly of the A320 family. You are the central interface between planning and production, optimizing manufacturing processes and solving process-critical challenges.

Responsibilities
- Process Optimization: Develop manufacturing concepts and support in identifying, assessing, and processing non-conformities (NCs) in production
- Improvement Management: Coordinate the continuous improvement process (CIP) considering cost, schedule, and quality, and integrate relevant functions
- Series Planning: Plan new and series components and assemblies, and select and create suitable manufacturing concepts and work plans
- Industrial Feasibility: Confirm feasibility in manufacturing within the drawing release process and commission standardized manufacturing equipment
- Capacity Management: Anticipate capacity fluctuations to cover changes in the product lifecycle and expand competencies
- Disruption Management: Identify manufacturing problems, validate and control corrective actions, and process deviation reports
- Design Consultation: Provide technical consultation to design engineering, commission work, and manage work orders for off-site tasks
- Escalation Management: Escalate recurring problems and request support from relevant specialist departments
Qualifications
- Completed vocational training as an aircraft mechanic or aircraft builder with master craftsman qualification or a completed technical degree (e.g., vehicle engineering, engineering, aerospace)
- Several years of professional experience in work preparation, aircraft construction, or manufacturing engineering
- Previous experience with aircraft is required
- Proficient use of SAP (knowledge of detailed functions) and Google Workspace
- Business fluent German (at least C1) and proficient English
- Willingness to work in shifts (early and late shifts on a weekly rotation)
- Communicative and team-oriented working style as well as solution-oriented and process-compliant approach
- A valid, unrestricted work permit for the European Union (no student visa) is mandatory
