For our client HENSOLDT Sensors GmbH, we are looking for a Systems Engineer at the Taufkirchen / Munich site. In a highly specialized environment, you will develop electro-optical systems for missile detection and actively shape the entire product lifecycle – from specification to series support.

The gross annual salary is, depending on qualifications, max. 74,232 €. This position is initially to be filled on a fixed-term basis until 31.05.2027. Responsibilities


  • System analysis and concept development for missile warning systems
  • Requirements management: Analyze customer requirements and define system requirements
  • System design of components and interfaces
  • Qualification evidence and test concepts definition
  • Technical documentation for development, product, and verification
  • System integration, commissioning, and testing at subsystem and system level
  • Supplier management for internal and external subcontractors
  • Project responsibility for work packages regarding time, cost, and quality


Qualifications

  • Completed degree (at least Bachelor's) in Mathematics, Physics, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or comparable qualification
  • Several years of professional experience in Systems Engineering and system modeling
  • Many years of experience in at least one of the following areas: electrical assemblies, signal processing, hardware and software, verification, or test concept development
  • In-depth knowledge of standards and regulations for civil and military aviation equipment (e.g., DO-160, DO-254) and their aviation certification
  • Business fluent German (at least C1) and business fluent English (at least C1)
  • Proactive, independent, analytical, and structured way of working
  • Excellent communication skills and high social competence as well as teamwork skills in international and diverse teams
  • A valid, unrestricted work permit for the European Union (no student visa) is mandatory
