At Airbus Defence and Space GmbH in Manching, you will take on project coordination tasks for the integration of weapon systems into modern combat aircraft as a Systems Engineer Weapons Integration. You will work at the interface between development, integration, and supplier management, contributing to the successful implementation of highly complex defense projects.

The gross annual salary is, depending on qualifications, max. 63,141 €. This position is initially to be filled on a fixed-term basis until 31.07.2027. Responsibilities


  • Project coordination for weapons integration from the study phase through to series release
  • Supplier and test equipment management independently oversee
  • System engineering tasks within the scope of interface definition between weapon and aircraft
  • Engineering tasks accompany during the integration project and system support
  • Release documentation for flight tests and series release prepare
  • Export control activities process and monitor within the project context
  • Continuous improvement initiatives actively drive forward


Qualifications

  • Successfully completed Master's or Diplom degree in Physics, Electrical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, or a comparable subject
  • Initial professional experience in a technical environment
  • Several years of knowledge and experience in technical project management
  • Knowledge of flying weapon systems (e.g., Eurofighter, Tornado) advantageous
  • Detailed specialist knowledge of MS Office
  • Business fluent German (at least C1) and proficient English
  • Analytical, structured, and independent working style as well as teamwork and communication skills
  • A valid, unrestricted work permit for the European Union (no student visa) is mandatory
