Tasks
- Definition and development of the system architecture for the Flight Control System (FCS)
- Design of redundancy strategies and safety mechanisms within the system architecture
- Analysis and isolation of fault conditions within the system design
- Creation and maintenance of Level 2 and Level 3 system requirements, including validation
- Coordination of interface requirements with adjacent systems and components
- Ensuring traceability and complete coverage of functional requirements
- Support of system testing activities on Level 2 / Level 3 level
- Technical collaboration within a closely coordinated, multidisciplinary project team
Qualifications
- Completed technical university degree in aerospace engineering, electrical engineering, computer science, mechanical engineering or a comparable field of study
- Several years of professional experience in design engineering, IT landscape development and software/system development
- Strong expertise in systems engineering, requirements definition and flight control/flight management systems
- Experience as a software engineer in design and architecture is desirable
- Very good IT skills in Python and IBM DOORS
- Experience with C++, Matlab/Simulink, Cameo and SCADE is desirable
- English business fluent (at least C1), both written and spoken
- CV in English required
- A valid and unrestricted work permit for the European Union (no student visa) is mandatory
