Responsibilities
- System Design: Ensure and take responsibility for the design of surveillance and situational awareness systems
- Requirement Engineering: Perform and document requirement management, system specification, and design
- Integration, Verification, and Validation Strategy: Define and implement strategies for complex avionics systems
- Testing: Actively support and accompany tests on test benches, on the ground, and in flight
- System Qualification and Certification: Plan and ensure qualification and certification at helicopter level
- Project Implementation: Ensure project execution in line with overarching helicopter planning
- Stakeholder Management: Coordinate with internal and external partners such as suppliers and program management
- Modern Working Methods: Apply and promote agile development methods (e.g., Scrum, SAFe)
Qualifications
- Successfully completed university degree (Bachelor's/Master's) in engineering or a comparable field
- Several years of professional experience as a Design Engineer or in product development
- Many years of experience in system design, development, and integration of complex avionics systems, ideally in aerospace
- Solid knowledge of Systems Engineering and Requirement Engineering
- Basic skills in German (at least A2); business fluent English (at least C1); French or Spanish skills are advantageous
- Experience in stakeholder management and with agile methods (Scrum, SAFe) is desirable
- Team spirit, strong communication skills, and a proactive working style
- A valid, unrestricted work permit for the European Union (no student visa) is mandatory
