As an EBU Mechanic, you will support the retrofitting and integration of new subsystems into existing engines within the Engine Build-Up (EBU) department. Responsibilities
- Retrofitting and integrating new subsystems into existing engines (Engine Build Up / EBU)
- Pre-assembling modules and components according to technical specifications
- Installing additional modules such as sensors, lines, and control and regulation components
- Laying and connecting cables, lines, and supply systems
- Conducting fit and function tests on the installed subsystems
- Implementing installation measures according to technical drawings and construction documents
- Applying assembly, fastening, and sealing techniques in accordance with regulations
- Documenting the retrofits and installations performed in accordance with aviation standards
Qualifications
- Completed vocational training in mechanics
- Ideally, initial experience in the aviation industry and working with engines
- Fluent in German (min. B2); basic knowledge of English (min. A2)
- Willingness to work shifts
- A valid, unrestricted work permit for the European Union (not a student visa) is mandatory
