For our client Collins Aerospace - Aerostructures Goodrich Aerospace Europe GmbH, we are looking for an EBU Mechanic at the Hamburg site. Here, you will work directly on the retrofitting and integration of state-of-the-art subsystems into existing engines – from pre-assembly to final functional testing. Your diligence and technical understanding are the key to reliable aviation technology.

Responsibilities
- Engine Build-Up (EBU): Retrofitting and integration of new subsystems into existing engines
- Pre-assembly of assemblies and components according to technical specifications
- Installation of additional assemblies such as sensors, lines, and control components
- Cable and line routing and connection of supply systems
- Integration of new components into existing engine structures
- Testing: Execution of fit and functional tests of newly installed subsystems
- Assembly techniques: Application of fastening and sealing techniques as per regulations
- Documentation of all retrofitting and installation work performed
Qualifications
- Completed vocational training as a mechanic or in a comparable metalworking trade
- Initial experience in the aviation industry and in handling engines is advantageous
- Conversational German; basic skills in English (at least A2)
- Willingness to work in shifts
- Teamwork skills, flexibility, and a high sense of responsibility
- A valid, unrestricted work permit for the European Union (no student visa) is mandatory
