Responsibilities
- Assembly of components and assemblies for the Eurofighter Section 3/2B
- Surface protection: Application of sealants and corrosion protection as well as repair of damage
- Sealing work on components carried out professionally
- Work preparation: Review, sort, and provide orders and drawings
- Component preparation: Set up components and workstations, check FEMI, and prepare for assembly
- Positioning and fixing of components for further processing
Qualifications
- Completed vocational training as an aircraft mechanic, aircraft builder, industrial mechanic, precision mechanic, or in a comparable metalworking trade
- Several years of professional experience in precision mechanics, production, aircraft construction, or structural assembly
- Experience in structural mechanics (metal), ideally at Airbus
- Business fluent German (at least C1); basic English skills (at least A2)
- Willingness to work shifts in a 2-shift system and on weekends
- Quality-oriented and responsible work ethic, teamwork skills, and focused, independent working style
- A valid, unrestricted work permit for the European Union (no student visa) is mandatory
