Tasks

  • Integration of components and systems into metal and composite structures
  • Processing and adjustment of parts made from metal and fiber-reinforced materials
  • Assembly tasks including tack fastening and sealing of aircraft components
  • Drilling out defective rivets as well as deburring and reworking of parts
  • Use of hand tools in compliance with aviation-specific quality standards
  • Reading and interpreting technical drawings and using technical documentation
  • Application of basic knowledge in metal and composite processing
  • Support with minor electrical tasks and wet lay-up repairs (desirable)

Qualifications

  • Completed vocational training as aircraft mechanic, automotive mechanic, metalworker, bodywork mechanic, or in another metalworking profession
  • Extensive professional experience in manufacturing / production, aircraft construction, aerospace, and mechanical work
  • Confident use of MS Office (at least advanced application skills)
  • Fluent German skills (minimum C1), basic English skills (minimum A2)
  • Experience at Airbus is an advantage
  • Qualification in minor wet lay-up repairs and basic electrical tasks is a plus
  • Willingness to work in a 2-shift system, with overtime and business travel (e.g. to Marignane)
  • A valid, unrestricted work permit for the European Union (no student visa) is mandatory
