Tasks
- Manufacture, modification, and repair of fiber composite components in the aviation sector
- Preparation of raw materials as well as shaping and machining of components
- Operation of heat treatment systems and performance of assembly and disassembly work
- Processing of composite materials, including cutting, fitting, laminating, and grinding
- Integration of components and systems into composite structures
- Working on the basis of production orders, drawings, and technical documentation
- Preparation of components at the workplace, checking for completeness, and reporting missing items
Qualifications
- Completed training as a process mechanic for plastics and rubber technology, laminator, carpenter, or joiner
- ALTERNATIVELY Completion of a commercial-technical profession with a focus on plastics technology or fiber composites
- Many years of professional experience in manufacturing/production, especially with fiber composite materials
- Knowledge of lamination, process mechanics, and handling heat treatment equipment
- German language skills (at least C1), English language skills (at least B2)
- Willingness to work in a 2- and 3-shift system and to travel occasionally
- A valid, unrestricted work permit for the European Union (no student visa) is mandatory
